Every evening, her grandmother gave her a small lantern.

The lantern had a warm yellow light.
Lampáš mal teplé žlté svetlo.
Mira carried it to the edge of the village and hung it on an old wooden post.
Mira ho niesla na okraj dediny a zavesila na starý drevený stĺp.
Why do we do this every night?
Prečo to robíme každú noc?
Mira asked.
spýtala sa Mira.
Her grandmother smiled.
