A long time ago, in a village at the edge of a forest, there lived a girl named Mira.
நீண்ட காலத்திற்கு முன்பு, காட்டின் விளிம்பில் உள்ள ஒரு கிராமத்தில், மீரா என்ற பெண் வசித்து வந்தாள்.
Mira was not tall and she was not strong, but she was very kind.
மீரா உயரமாக இல்லை, அவள் வலிமையானவள் அல்ல, ஆனால் அவள் மிகவும் கனிவானவள்.
Every evening, her grandmother gave her a small lantern.
